American Animal Hospital Association Similar to the American Hospital Association that accredits human hospitals but is the small animal veterinary version. We are a 4-year AAHA-accredited hospital. Less than 10% of all veterinary hospitals can boast this accreditation status. Hospitals must meet minimum guidelines for patient care, surgical and anesthetic protocols, diagnostics, staffing, record-keeping and much more, as well as be subject to an intensive hospital inspection. This is a good site to check out more about AAHA and to look for member veterinarians and hospitals in other locations.

The site contains plant images, pictures of affected animals, and presentations concerning the botany, chemistry, toxicology, diagnosis and prevention of poisoning of animals by plants and other natural flora (fungi, etc).
